Aluminium pergolas

Create your own customized aluminium pergola. The main advantage to these pergolas is their movable roof sunshade. It has a range of functions – on hot summer days, the slats tilt to block direct sunlight while ventilating the pergola interior. Thanks to this, you’ll feel comfortable even in the worst heat. When it rains, the sunshade can have the slats swung down completely so they serve as a roof.

product description

Aluminium pergolas – The cutting edge of exterior shading

If you spend time outside in the garden or on the terrace, you’ll surely welcome shading that provides you with comfort in any weather. Aluminium pergolas are truly an excellent option.

The pergola roof comprises a movable sunshade (a set of slats) that allows for the slats to be tilted from 0° to 130°. When it’s sunny outside, tilted slats will give you optimal shading and the pergola interior will be ventilated. In rainy weather, the slats can be closed, forming a roof that will protect you from the rain. In the latter case, the pergola has been designed to drain water from the roof into the ground through one of its posts.

To achieve truly optimal shading, the roof sunshade can be divided into multiple sections. This makes it possible to control each section separately – for example, one section can be fully closed, while another can be left open to allow in ventilation and natural light.

We offer our pergolas in three types according to their anchoring. If you want a freestanding pergola, a Type A aluminium pergola will suit you. If you need to shade a terrace, you can anchor one side of your pergola, either the longer or the shorter one. In such cases, a Type B or Type C pergola will be ideal for you.

Our offer also includes above-average equipment, including very impressive LED lighting, a wind vibration sensor, and screen roller blinds custom-made for your pergola to increase your comfort when the sun is low in the sky.

question

  • What do I need to have ready before the actual installation of the pergola (construction readiness)?

It is assumed that at least concrete footings or a level surface are prepared for the pergola installation. The recommended minimum size of the footing is 300 x 300 mm for each upright leg, reaching a frost-free depth. It is also advisable to have an electrical supply prepared for powering the pergola, using a 3 x 2.5 CYKY-J cable. The ideal location is to route the cable to the center of one footing and leave a free outlet of at least 3 m. If this is not feasible with the footing, the cable can be routed at the junction point of the pergola with the facade. If you require a different solution, please don't hesitate to contact us.

How will the pergola be delivered?

The pergolas are delivered packaged in crates and wraps. At least two people will be needed to unload the individual packages from the delivery vehicle. If you are not installing the pergola immediately, we recommend storing it in a dry and shaded place. When unpacking the packages, proceed with caution to avoid scratching or damaging the individual components.

Is any maintenance required for the pergola?

In spring and before winter, it is recommended to treat the rubber seals on the slats with a suitable product. Remove branches from the covered areas to prevent damage to the slats during their movement. Regular cleaning of the drainage channels is necessary for their proper functioning, removing leaves and other debris.

Should the pergola be left open or closed during winter?

In winter months, set the roof slats to a 90° angle. This keeps the pergola open to prevent excessive snow loading.

Are there any limitations regarding the number of upright legs or the need for two sections of roof slats?

Yes, if the length exceeds 6,121 mm, the pergola will have additional middle upright leg(s). For pergolas longer than 5,400 mm, it is automatically equipped with 2 motors, resulting in 2 sections. However, the number of sections is ultimately your choice. Even with a smaller dimension, if you decide to have 2 sections, the pergola will be equipped with 2 motors, each controlling one section of the slats.
