What type of attachment to choose?

The blind measuring differs with each type of attachment. See the types of attachment below:

A) On the glazing bead

The width is measured from edge to edge of the glass pane including the rubber seal on the edges.

Warning! For this type of installation, the frame around the glazing bead needs to be at least 25 mm deep. The height is measured in the same manner as the width.

Example of measuring: Width = 1 105 mm measured from the rubber seal on the left to the rubber seal on the right x Height = 1 650 mm measured from the rubber seal at the top to the rubber seal at the bottom. Put the figures in bold in the order form.

TIP! It is advisable to measure the width at 3 different spots- top, middle, bottom in case the window has a crooked frame. If these 3 figures differ put the smallest figure in the form.

B) On the window frame

The width is measured from the window handle to the centre of the frame on the opposite side including the glazing bead. The height is measured from the top edge of the frame to the bottom edge of the frame including the glazing bead. We recommend adding + 50 mm to the height measurement.

TIP! The dimensions of the blinds headrail are 24 x 24 x 0.4 mm. If you require bigger overlap of the blind over the window frame, please add those dimensions to the measured figures.

Example of measuring: Width = 1 115 mm measured from the window handle to the centre of the opposite frame including the glazing bead x Height = 1 655 mm measured from the top frame to the bottom frame of the window including the glazing bead + recommended addition of 50 mm = 1 705 mm. Put the figures in bold in the order form.

C) Into the lintel

In this case, we measure the total width of the window recess minus 5 mm to ensure the headrail of the blind will fit in. As for the height, we measure the total height of the window recess.

TIP! The dimensions of the blinds headrail are 24 x 24 x 0.4 mm.

Example of measuring: Width = 1 105 mm measured from the left jamb to the right jamb inside the window recess minus recommended 5 mm. The final Width is then 1 100 mm x Height = 1 650 mm measured between the lintel and the sill. Put the figures in bold in the order form.

D) Into the ceiling/On the wall

As for the width measuring, choose how much you want the blind to overlap your window recess and put your preferred width in the order form. Generally, we recommend adding 50 mm on each side of the window recess.

Example of measuring: Width = 1 105 mm measured from the left jamb to the right jamb inside the window recess + 50 mm overlap on the left and + 50 mm overlap on the right. The final Width is then 1 205 mm x Height = 1 650 mm measured from the lintel and the sill + 80 mm ( 80 mm is the roll-up height found in the chart below) and so the final Height is 1 730mm. Put the figures in bold in the order form.

Instructions

Universal blinds for all types of windows

Horizontal blinds are still the most popular interior shading. And rightly so - blinds are affordable, you can choose from several types according to the type of windows you want to shade and according to your control preferences.

UNIVERSAL blinds are suitable for aluminum or other older types of windows. HIT blinds are suitable for plastic and wooden euro windows.

UNIVERSAL horizontal blinds offer several installation variants and various controls. Chain blinds can be installed in a glazing bar, on a window frame, in a head jamb, or on a wall. The blind for a chain, the tilting of slats, and pulling up and down are enabled only by pulling the chain (possibility to produce up to 4.4 m2).

The last variant is between the glass blinds. It is designed for installing between windows if there is no other space. So you have the blind "inside" the window, the control is inside the room. It does not dust on the blind and is protected against damage. You can affect the tilting of the slats by turning the handle and pulling up the blind by pulling the cord.

Blinds that are against moisture

Each blind consists of an upper and lower profile and a set of slats. These are made of aluminum and are therefore suitable for all rooms, even bathrooms and toilets where there may be more moisture. A big advantage is also the variety of colors. In addition to the usual RAL shades, you can also choose, for example, metallic colors or wood imitations.

Blackout design is top

The slats move down to create a closed surface. And here you have an option again. You can choose either a classic or blackout design. In the classic design, there are small holes in the individual slats for guidance in the middle part. Even when closing the slats, light can pass through these openings. The blackout design has slats improved and the holes are in the back. As a result, the holes are not visible when retracted and light cannot pass through them.

Measurement and installation in a few minutes

As with other interior blinds, measurement and installation are easy. We have prepared well-arranged measure and install instructions for you, so you can measure, order, and install the blinds at any time when you want. You do not need to wait for a technical expert. You will also earn extra money.
