Shading or decoration?

Fabric roller blinds are not only popular in households but also in offices, saloons and other business areas. Everyone can adapt them to their own ideas. There's plenty to choose from in our catalogues so anyone can pick their patterned or non-patterned fabric in tons of different colour variations. Colour selection comes in the third step in our configurator after the roller blind type selection and the dimensions selection.

Roller blinds fulfil different functions - they can be swapped for semi-transparent net curtains or provide higher level of shading up to complete blackout. Very popular are the day-night blinds, called after the alternating stripes of fabric. Two fabrics alternate. One of them is more transparent and acts more like a curtain, the other fabric is more shading or darkening. It is then up to you how you move the stripes against each other and set them how much the blind will shade.

Fabric blind is suitable for small and large windows

We offer a wide range of roller blinds with both plastic and metal body. The shaft diameter (28 mm) is also adapted so that the body of the blind can carry the weight of the fabric without any problems and at the same time does not look unnecessarily large with smaller blind sizes.

With plastic roller blinds, their frame and operation chain is made of white, hardened plastics. In the case of metal blinds, both parts are made of metal.

Difference between the roller blind frame and the fabric

When ordering the roller blinds, we need the measurements of its total height and width. The total width is the headrail width including its side brackets. The width of the fabric is then slightly smaller by approx 40 mm ( 20 mm on each side) in average. The total height includes the headrail and bottom rail.

One roller blind, multiple fitting options

Not every window allows installation on its frame. Sometimes our customers are forced to install the roller blinds into the ceiling or on the wall above the window. In such cases, you can choose the type of attachment in our configurator. Sometimes you're not able to drill in window frame, the above wall or the ceiling. This can happen for a variety of reasons - you either live in a rented house/flat or you don't want to interfere with the walls' stability or you just don't feel up for the installation. In such cases, we also have a solution for you in the form of drill-free roller blinds. Their installation is simple and doesn't take more than a minute. You just hang the brackets on the window sash and then drop the blinds in them. The only downside of this roller blind type is the 1.5 m² size limit.
