It is very important how you position your pergola. There are 3 position types - freestanding pergola (ARTOSI Type A), pergola with slats parallel with house wall (ARTOSI Type B) and pergola with slats perpendicular to house wall (ARTOSI Type C). Whatever variant you choose, ARTOSI pergola will be a great addition to your terrace and garden. 

Pergola allows to adjust the amount of sunshine you'll get Pergola's roof consists of moving slats. These can be tilted from 0 to 130 degrees. Thanks to this you can have partial shade under the pergola and enough natural sunlight at the same time.

Or you can shut the slats completely to create impermeable surface that protects you from sunshine and rain as well.

The greatest benefit of tiltable slats is the fact that you can regulate not only the amount of sunshine but also the air circulation. Heated air flows upwards and escapes through the opened slats while the fresh air flows in under the pergola.

Operate each part of the roof separately

Roof slats can be divided into 1 or 2 sections. If you go for more than one section, you'll operate each section with a remote control separately. That means, for example, one person can work in a shade under the closed half of the roof while other person can sunbathe under the opened one.

Pergola ARTOSI is a beautiful shading element on its own. However, if you already know your pergola will be positioned in your garden facing late afternoon sun, you might consider getting the side screen roller blinds. With this add-on low sun won't ever bother you again.
