Which type of pergola to choose?

The basic distinction between different types of pergolas is their placement and the associated installation method. Construction and electrical preparations are not included in the price of the pergola. Footings of at least 300 x 300 mm down to frost-free depth and an electrical connection are required.

TYPE A - Freestanding Pergola

This pergola is designed to stand freely in space, without anchoring to a building. It's anchored only by 4 standing legs (or 6 standing legs) to a pre-prepared surface with footings of at least 300 x 300 mm. The electrical connection is routed through one of the standing legs.

TYPE B - Pergola anchored width-wise to the wall

One side of the pergola is anchored to a structure. This is usually where the electrical connection is implemented.

TYPE C - Pergola anchored length-wise to the wall

One side of the pergola is anchored to a structure. This is usually where the electrical connection is implemented.

A shelter not just for gardens

Aluminum pergolas are suitable anywhere. You can use them to cover a terrace directly by the house, or even freely in the garden. And it's precisely there that a pergola with a corrugated sheet metal roof is most suitable. Thanks to the metal, the roof is impermeable to both sunlight and raindrops, providing you shelter in all weather. You can also anchor it directly to the house wall. If you're considering a terrace cover with attention to light permeability for the adjacent interior, you might also look at pergolas with polycarbonate.

If you're wondering about rainwater on the roof - that's been taken into account. Integrated drainage channels are in the load-bearing profiles, directing all the water from the roof to one of the standing legs and from there away. The roof load capacity of the pergola is 150 kg/m2.

You can easily measure the pergola yourself with our instructions and order without any issues. We'll handle the custom production and delivery for you. Once it arrives, you can start the installation whenever it suits you; you'll just need a partner for lifting the load-bearing profiles.

Match your pergola with surrounding furnishings

Whether you decide to place the pergola freely in the garden or attach it directly to the house, match its color with the surrounding furnishings or furniture. We typically supply the pergola structure in 7 of the most popular colors. The corrugated sheet is in RAL 9006.
