Stela awning with a load-bearing profile

Shading for a terrace or restaurant outdoor seating

Stela represents an awning design with a load-bearing profile. The awning structure consists of brackets with a steel head profile, articulated arms, fabric winding cylinder, bottom profile and control mechanism. The bottom profile is fitted with a drip ledge draining rain water and preventing formation of water pockets when the awning is extended. Maximum extension with Stela design is 4 metres and so suitable for large private and commercial outdoor spaces.

Mold resistant fabrics

For better sun and rainfall control, our fabrics have a special CLEANGUARD surface treatment. This treatment also ensure mold resistance and prevent fabric colours from fading. There's a wide range of fabric colours to choose from- from unicolour fabrics to striped fabrics and fabrics with a fine texture in different shades of yellow, beige, grey and many others. Apart from fabrics colour you can choose a valance type. Valance is a piece of fabric overhanging the end rail of the awning and plays an important role in shading when sun comes low in late afternoons.

Semi-cassette or open cassette

In the basic version Stela comes as an open cassette awning which means its structure and fabric is exposed and not protected against rainfall. So if you're not planning to mount your awning in the ceiling that would protect it, we recommend the semi-cassette version. When in a retracted position, the cassette serves as a protection cover for the awning.

Manual or electric control mechanism

Our awnings are bespoke and made-to-measure. Another thing you can choose is the type of control. The economic option is always the manual control with a crank. Rotating the crank you either extend or retract the awning. If you prefer to control your awning with a single button, choose the motorized version with a wall-mounted switch or a remote control. Motorized version also allows add-on attachments such as solar and wind sensor.
