What is the difference between the different types?

Both types of screen roller blinds are suitable for installation on conservatories, pergolas and other areas. It is possible to stack up to 4 verandas side by side to screen larger areas. Both are mounted using brackets. The difference is in the routing of the fabric, the shape of the cover box and the maximum manufacturable dimensions.

HRV80-ZIP

This veranda has a square box shape. The fabric is guided using the ZIP system. The fabric is thus permanently off and does not sag or move (e.g. in severe weather conditions, resistance is claimed up to 49 km/h). There is also the possibility of installing LED lighting in the cassette and providing lighting for the area under the veranda.

The porch dimensions are up to 6,000 mm in width and 6,000 mm in height. The maximum guaranteed area is 25 m2. The roller shutter can therefore be made wider in one piece than the HRV52.

HRV52

The HRV52 porch has a round box shape. The fabric is guided in guide rails to provide the necessary shading.

The porch dimensions are a maximum of 5,500 mm in width and 5,000 mm in height. The maximum guaranteed area is 25 m2.

Enjoy comfort even on hot days

If you like to relax in a winter garden or have large glass surfaces in the attic, you surely know the times when it feels like a greenhouse. The sun beats down from morning till evening and the space inside overheats. Thanks to the screen blind in the form of a veranda, you solve the shading and enjoy greater comfort throughout the year.

Shading a winter garden

Difference in cassette and guide method

In our offer, you can choose from two variants of verandas - HRV52 and HRV80-ZIP. What both blinds have in common is the screen fabric - a durable special technical fabric designed for exterior shading. The fabric excels in excellent thermoregulation and shading properties. Moreover, it does not fully obscure the view but is partially transparent from the inside. This way, you can enjoy more pleasant temperatures inside while not losing the view of the sky. Both types are mounted using brackets on the window structure. The blinds can cover up to an area of 25 m^2.

Veranda shading even the glazed roof of a pergola

The visible differences are in the cassettes, which hide the rolled-up fabric when not in use. This cassette protects the blind in harsh weather conditions and preserves the fabric, ensuring it lasts for many years. The HRV52 veranda has a round cassette positioned below the level of the blind, while the HRV80-ZIP has a rectangular one facing upwards.

HRV52 with a round cover box

The other difference lies in the method of lateral fabric guidance. In both cases, the fabric is guided along the sides in guide channels. For the HRV80-ZIP, however, the fabric is guided using a zip system, ensuring the fabric is taut across the entire surface and more resistant to weather changes.

Convenient remote control

For both blinds, you can choose from two types of motorized control. You can opt for a shaft motor with a switch control - typically mounted on the wall near the blind, where you press a button to lower or raise the blind. The second option is a “smart” motor. You can then control the blind using a remote control, or integrate it into a smart home system to control the blind using voice commands or even program it for different times of the day.

DIY installation

The installation of the blind is manageable for skilled DIYers. We have prepared clear instructions and are happy to help with measuring and ordering.
