how to do it

Which Type of Pergola Should You Choose?

The primary difference between various types of polycarbonate pergolas is their placement and the associated installation method. Construction and electrical preparations are not included in the pergola's price. It is essential to have footings prepared, measuring at least 300 x 300 mm to a frost-free depth, along with an electrical conduit.

TYPE A - Freestanding Pergola

This pergola is designed to stand freely in a space without being anchored to a structure. It is anchored only by 4 standing legs (or 6 standing legs) to a pre-prepared surface with footings of at least 300 x 300 mm in size. The electrical conduit runs through one of the standing legs.

TYPE B - Pergola Anchored to the Wall by Width

One side of the pergola is anchored to a structure.

TYPE C - Pergola Anchored to the Wall by Length

One side of the pergola is anchored to a structure.

Note: If you fill out the configuration for one type of pergola and then switch to another type, the entered values will be erased.

Instructions

Sturdy construction

Various materials are used for pergola production. For us, aluminum stands out as the best. It's virtually maintenance-free, requires no care, and even after many years, it looks as good as when purchased. The surface is painted, allowing you to choose the structure in one of 7 basic colors, each typically available in 2 finishes (texture/matte/gloss).

The roofing of the pergola is made of polycarbonate sheet supported by profiles. This ensures the stability of the entire pergola and the load-bearing capacity of the roof. The pergola can withstand winds up to 120 km/h, and the roof can support up to 150 kg/m2.

Proper water drainage

The pergola includes an integrated drainage channel, directing water into one of its standing legs and then out. Thus, water doesn't accumulate on the roof but flows off smoothly.

Pergola doesn't darken adjacent interior

An advantage of the polycarbonate pergola is the preservation of light beneath it. If you're planning to anchor the pergola to the house and it covers some windows or an entrance, the polycarbonate will ensure enough light penetrates.

Pergola with a polycarbonate roof

If you want to shade the area under the pergola from low sun or protect against wind, you can order screen blinds. Thanks to their technical fabric, these blinds provide excellent shading, protect against wind, and offer privacy from neighbors' views (without completely obstructing your view).

Easy for DIY enthusiasts

If you enjoy DIY projects, you can take on the pergola setup yourself. Following our instructions, you can easily measure, order, and upon delivery, effortlessly assemble the pergola.
