Horizontal blinds are bestsellers

Create your own customized horizontal blinds – the bestselling window coverings on the European market. They won’t cost much, they look great (particularly on plastic and wooden European windows), and you won’t have to spend any time taking care of them.

Horizontal blinds have slats made of aluminium, which is a lightweight but very resistant material. So your slats won’t get damp or grow mould. You can also use them in damp or poorly ventilated rooms and have no worries at all. And what’s the best we’ve left for last? Because you can pick from dozens of colour combinations, you’ll get blinds matching your wishes exactly.

The main advantages of horizontal blinds

  • Elegant and decorative interior coverings
  • Timeless design
  • Large selection of colours
  • Manual
  • Regulation of sunlight intensity

If you are looking for the optimal price–quality ratio, we can recommend HIT I or HIT II interior blinds. Hit I blinds have a more angled upper profile, while that of Hit II is more elegant and slightly rounded. The upper profile of Hit II has been enhanced to ensure that only minimal light gets through between it and the first slat. Its upper profile is also tougher. You can opt to match the colours of the slats and the upper profile, with many colour variants and wood imitations to choose from.

For all interior blinds, you can choose from two slat construction techniques. The first is a classic construction, with small openings in the slats through which a lift tape or cord passes. These openings mean a small amount of light may get through into the room even if the slats are tilted down. The second is a blackout construction, where the openings for the lift cord or tape are in the rear of the slats and so no light gets through when the blinds are shut.

Our variable horizontal window blinds include System 25, which consists of between-the-glass blinds, blinds operated by a chain. Between-the-glass blinds are suitable for older windows. In addition, you’ll find multiple mounting attachments in our offer:

  • To glazing beads,
  • To the top of the window reveal,
  • To the window frame,
  • To the wall, and
  • To the ceiling.

question

  • Can I choose the length of the control cord?

You can choose the length of the control cord, only bear in mind its minimum length is always 2/3 of the total blind's height. This dimension is supplied automatically unless specified otherwise. If you need a longer cord, please enter its length in mm in the notice.

On which side of the window do you put the control cord?

Usually the control cord is placed on the opposite side of the window handle. Refers to the side when facing the window.

What exactly is the blackout design?

With the classic design, there are small holes in the sides of the slats through which a lift tape or cord passes. A small amount of light may get through these holes into the room even when the slats are shut. With the blackout design, however, these holes are at the back side of the slats so when the blind is shut, the slats overlap each other. To achieve that, blackout design blinds consist of more slats than the classic design.

What are the spacer blocks for?

Spacer blocks are usually used for triple-glazed windows. They serve as padding between the blind’s head rail and the window frame. One of the main reasons to use a spacer block might be a narrow glazing bead, which could lead to breaking of the window glass if a spacer block is not used during the blinds installation. We will supply you with a spacer block in the colour same or closest to that of the upper profile. Glazing bead width more than 19mm- no spacer block needed Glazing bead width 15-19 mm- one spacer block needed on each side Glazing bead width 11-15 mm- two spacer blocks needed on each side
