How to properly measure a pergola?

The pergola is attached to a structure.

NOTE! For the pergola, proper construction preparation is necessary. This means having footings prepared with dimensions of at least 300 x 300 mm to a frost-free depth and an electrical connection for powering the pergola. We kindly ask you to mention in the order note in which support leg you require water drainage and where the electrical wiring should be.

Width

For the pergola, we always measure the exterior dimensions of the construction. We specify the total width. The maximum measured width is 4,500 mm.

Length

For the pergola, we always measure the exterior dimensions of the construction. We specify the total length. The maximum measured length is 7,000 mm. For dimensions larger than 4,140 mm, there is always a central support leg to ensure the structure's strength and weight distribution. For this type of pergola, the central support leg is on both sides.

Height

The walk-through height of the pergola (i.e., the column of the pergola) is measured. The maximum measured height is 3,000 mm.
NOTE! The overall height of the roofing profile is not included. The total system height will always be 180 mm higher than the ordered walk-through height. The recommended walk-through height of the pergola is between 2,300 mm and 2,500 mm.

A shelter not just for gardens

Aluminum pergolas are suitable anywhere. You can use them to cover a terrace directly by the house, or even freely in the garden. And it's precisely there that a pergola with a corrugated sheet metal roof is most suitable. Thanks to the metal, the roof is impermeable to both sunlight and raindrops, providing you shelter in all weather. You can also anchor it directly to the house wall. If you're considering a terrace cover with attention to light permeability for the adjacent interior, you might also look at pergolas with polycarbonate.

If you're wondering about rainwater on the roof - that's been taken into account. Integrated drainage channels are in the load-bearing profiles, directing all the water from the roof to one of the standing legs and from there away. The roof load capacity of the pergola is 150 kg/m2.
