How to properly measure a pergola?

The pergola is associated with a structure.

WARNING! Proper construction readiness is essential for a pergola. This means having footings prepared of at least 300 x 300 mm down to a frost-free depth, and an electrical connection for powering the pergola. Please specify in your order notes which supporting leg you require for water drainage and where the electrical wiring should be placed.

Width

For the pergola, we always measure the external dimensions of the construction. We specify the total width. The maximum measurable width is 4,500 mm.

Length

For the pergola, we always measure the external dimensions of the construction. We specify the total length. The maximum measurable length is 7,000 mm. When the length is greater than 4,140 mm, a central support leg is always necessary to ensure the structure's strength and weight distribution. For this type of pergola, the central support leg is usually only on the side that is not anchored to the wall.

Height

We measure the walk-through height of the pergola (i.e., the pergola's column). The maximum measurable height is 3,000 mm.
NOTE! The overhead height of the roofing profile is not included. Therefore, the overall system height will always be 180 mm greater than the ordered walk-through height. The recommended walk-through height for a pergola is between 2,300 mm and 2,500 mm.

A shelter not just for gardens

Aluminum pergolas are suitable anywhere. You can use them to cover a terrace directly by the house, or even freely in the garden. And it's precisely there that a pergola with a corrugated sheet metal roof is most suitable.
